Ce casque a beaucoup servi. Selon mes recherches, ce serait un casque McCord à cause de ses pontets fixes rectangulaires. Il porte le numéro 270 soit dans les débuts de sa production. Le sous-casque est fait de fibres compressées impregnées de résine et peut être ajustable (à partir de 1943). Le liner est très intéressant car le soldat a voulu lui donner une identification. Le triangle est l'emblême des Armored Division (divisions blindés américaines) et il a peint un petit 1 : First Armored Division. Déjà cela lui confère une rareté certaine. Il a ajouté 130 qui représente probablement son unité. Il ne manque que sa jugulaire. Belle acquisition pour tout amateur de Militaria.

Les frais de poste sont élevés mais j'en assume moi-même une bonne partie.
