1840-1913 GOOD REPRESENTATIVE COLLECTION An old time used collection on printed album pages and which includes for example: 1840 1d black and 2d blue both with four margins, 1841 1d three shades and 2d two shades, 1854-57 (perf 16) 1d x2 and 2d plus (perf 14) 1d x5 shades and 2d, 1858-79 1d two shades, 1½d both shades, 2d two shades, and ½d Bantam, 1847-54 embossed range with 6d x2, 10d, and 1s x2 (these all with repaired corners or cut to shape), 1855-57 4d x2, 6d, and 1s, 1862-64 6d, 9d, and 1s, 1865-73 3d, 4d x4, 6d, and 1s, 1867-80 3d, 6d x3, 9d, 10d, 1s, and 2s, 1872-73 6d chestnut, 6d buff, and 6d grey, 1873-80 2½d rosy-mauve and 2½d blue two of each, 3d, 4d sage-green, 6d, and 1s green, 1876 8d orange, 1880-83 3d, 3d on 3d, 4d brown, 6d, 6d on 6d, and 1s orange-brown, 1880-81 set, 1881 1d lilac both types, 1883-84 2s6d, 5s two shades, and 1s, 1883-84 complete set of greens and lilacs, 1887-1900 "Jubilee" set to both 1s, Edward VII issues with 1902-10 basic set to 2s6d (two shades) and 5s, 1911 (perf 15 x 14) ½d, 1d, 2½d, and 3d, plus 1911-13 2s6d Somerset House printing. Also with 1853 cover bearing 1d imperf, 1860 cover bearing 1d "Stars", and a few other items. Some stamps with faults and in mixed condition, but still with much that is at least good to fine, cat around £12,500 excluding the embossed issues.
